as i am slightly hard of hearing i use a set of wireless headphones when viewing tv and watching videos. the problem is they will not work when viewing the HD channels also when viewing some of the newer films i have the same problem. Do i need better headphones to be able to listen in HD ?

Do you have the base unit plugged into the headphone socket on the TV?

When you say they do not work on the HD channels what do you mean? Is there no sound at all?

What make and model is the TV?

thanks for your quick reply phildick.I think i have solved the problem,I have bought a headphone adapter and am now able to plug directly into my onkya base unit instead of the tv and up to now it seems ok.
