Software to adjust UV levels?

I have recently converted some old tapes with treasured songs to MP3 to play in my car via an SD card. Unfortunately, the songs were recorded with different volume levels.

Does anyone know of a free program (being a cheapskate who will only use the program once!) which will enable me to adjust the UV levels to the quieter recordings or to 'normalize' all the recordings?

When I first saw your reply, I read it as a cryptic "mp3 again?"!

Having now had a chance to download and try the software, it is superb, wonderful, just what I needed! I have normalised 180+ songs in minutes.

Many thanks.
