Archos wifi and Windows live hotmail

A major reason for me buying an Archos was to be able to access my hotmail account. Now when I try, Windows invites me to upgrade the web browser.

When I do connect I cannot access my inbox messages except via Home. Even then I cannot reply.

I appreciate that this is not Archos' fault but can we have an upgrade to the web browser soon to restore hotmail functionality?

Meanwhile is there any smart way round this problem?

Use the mobile version of Hotmail : http://mobile.live.com/hm/folder.aspx

Don't expect an upgrade to the browser though.

Re: Archos wifi and Windows live hotmail

Thanks.

I set the account up via my pc where it works well.

Functionality via Archos is still very limited. I can access messages in my inbox but no other folders. I can compose messages but not in context as the reply option does not work.

Re: Archos wifi and Windows live hotmail

The issue is between Opera and Microsoft and unfortunately this isn't something Archos can do much about since Microsoft don't seem to be very bothered by incompatibilities with non-IE browsers.
