Hi Everyone,

I want to purchase a multimedia player (e.g. like the Archos 504) to play my avi files I have on my pc.

Can anyone tell me whether all multimedia players can play avi files and is there anything I need to look for (other than the obvious disk space) ?

I'm looking to spend about £200.

Any pointers on great deals would be awesome

I don't think all PMP's have support for divx/xvid. Most Archos do and so do Cowon's PMP's. Creative's Zen Vision also supports divx/xvid up to version 5.0.
