I-Mate Momento photo frame

Anyone got an I-Mate Momento photo frame?

Ive just been bought one for my birthday. Its similar to other photo frames in that you can display photos from various memory cards and usb sticks. However it has an added feature in that it is wireless and can display photos directly from your PC assuming you have a wireless network of course.

In addition to it can connect to the internet to access the Momento website where you can store your photos on line and then download and display them on the frame. However you do of course have to register an account to use this service and after reading the T&C's it became clear that the first three months are free, with a 100 photo storage space, but after that there is a a monthly subscription fee which they take by direct debit from the credit card number you supply. Each annual sub allows you a further 500 photo storage space.

Heres the interesting bit. I registered really just to try out the service, but I didn't really intend continuing with the subscription after the 3 month free trial period. The registration process did not ask for a credit card number and much to my surprise told me I had a ten year free trial period with a photo limit of 100000 !

Just wondering if anyone else has got one of these and been given the extended free trial?
