I'm thinking of buying the micro 3 or micro 2+ to play back mkv files ripped from blu ray. Can this player see the subs embedded in the MKV file as I watch a lot of foreign movies?

Also have they solved the problem of large mkv files restarting half way thru?

Yes, as long as you have remembered to rip the subtitles.

Never has been a problem with MKV's. Problem was with MP4's.
MKV's play back fine.

Hello All
I have a Sumvision Cyclone Micro 3 connected by usb to a 1.5TB external box with lots of foriegn films & SRT files Yet am not able to access subtitles as before with an older mkv box.
The subtitle menu displays as [subtitles - On] then below that it has [subtitle - Off] with no way of changing as the arrow buttons only go up or down. I have even tried using the older remote that has an option button but to no avail.. help please !

sorry to say i can't really help - i bought a micro 3 but found I couldn't play subs on the mt2s files i had nor switch them off when playing mkv files. i sent it straight back for a refund. I had no more luck with an asus o!play , which also got returned pronto
