Player and SD backup..

Guys'

Does a device exist that will allow me to play audio files, and back up camera SD cards.

A laptop & IPad are just to valuable/fragile for where I'm going. I thought an IPOD classic would do the job but apparently you need a PC or mac to get photos on it?

Is there anything else?

Once upon a time, I bought a small portable hard drive that had memory slots. It was called PhotoBank and came from SmartDisk.

Smartdisk Photobank 40Gb Portable Digital Storage Device

Doesn't look like they are still available. Hang on, maybe not:

SmartDisk PhotoBank PB40

Search and you may find.
