Question Best Multimedia Player 2010

Hi everyone !

Two years ago i was looking for a nice multimedia player, with an external disk (1TB) where i could watch all my movies (divx mostly) and my pictures collection (JPG mostly).
That time i ordered an MVIX MX-780HD which i've been using til now.

Now i'd like to make an upgrade to something better. I see there is almost no support neither updates from mvix, and would like to try another brand.

What would you recommend? Must have a good remote control and easy to use.
I only want the device itself as i have got a 1TB hard drive inside my mvix.

First choises i've seen around are: Cyclone MKV 2 FULL 1080p HD Player and A.C.Ryan | PlayOn!HD - Full HD Network Mediaplayer
though, cyclone doesn't look easy to operate, based on forum posts....

Thank you!

Shani.

Hello,

I'm asking for Multimedia players (hardware devices - Media Tanks) and not software.
Examples:
Cyclone MKV: Cyclone MKV
TVIX Products: HOME > Products > TVIX HD M-6600A/N PLUS or HOME > Products > TVIX HD M-6500
Popcorn Hour C200: http://www.popcornhour.com/onlinesto...option=catalog

and much more
Thank you

Have you thought of using a micro PC?
I have an ASRock Nettop ion 330.
It has more versatility that dedicated media players (I have had two) and I can use it with a SMB server, local USB drive and also use a wireless keyboard or a XBOX 360 wireless controller with Xpadder software.
I know you only want the hardware ut you will need software for this solution - XBMC (free) better than Media Center and VLC (imho)
