WD TV HD with TS files

I recorded satellite TV on my Humax Foxsat-HDR and transfered the .TS files onto a portable hard disk.
When I play them on my Western Digital WD TV HD they view OK but when fast forwarding over adverts then pressing Play to go back to normal speed the viewing the location can be anything up to 4 minutes before or after it should be.
I don't get this on other file types and I don't get it when viewing my TS files on my PC (using VLS Media Player).
Has anyone else seen this problem?

Depending on the size of the video files

Try using a flash drive instead

I've had similar erratic behavior from some files on the hard drive (Maxtor)

But they behaved themselves when played from a thumb drive (flash drive)

I tried a flash drive but still no success. Fortunately, the shop I bought the WD TV HD from has agreed to take it back in part-exchange for a new PC.

I should mention that Western Digital customer support were totally useless in helping me with this problem.
