Not quite sure what your query is, but with the DVR dock and the included scart cable you can connect the ARCHOS directly to the SKY box and view stuff through the ARCHOS 5.

Alternatively, there is a TV add on I believe that you can use to turn it into a portable TV type of thing, but I know very little about that......

My DVR is only connected to Sky HD not to the TV.

You only need the TV connection if you want to replay from the Archos to the TV.

Just got my archos 5
To my horror the docking station not incl
So get one at the weekend
I've searched for a answer to this for ages
Tv recording 60gbs how many hrs will store to the archos 5 60gbs

Previous generation did not include the docking station either.

There is no straight answer to the capacity question as it depends on the bit rate of both audio and video and the formate (4:3/16:9 etc.)but as a general guide you will get around 75 mins per GB
