Red face Converting files is just plain dull

Does anyone know if you can get a portable media player that will play ripped DVD's (not (c) obviously) in .vob video format & 'Freesat' style .ts files without the need for very boring conversion malarky.

Currently I'm using a Samsung laptop with VLC free media player and it works well but I would like to leave the laptop at home more often. . . . .

Thanks in advance fellow geeks!

I suggest a WDTV media player

Copy the files to a flash drive or a small hard drive powered by the USB output of the WDTV player

No conversion necessary and the WDTV media player is small enough to carry around easily

Most of the recent Archos devices can do this as well if they have the right plug-in.
