Still playing around with the ARCHOS and have been trying to test out some CDs by converting them to .FLAC or .OGG files to see what the difference is over our beloved MP3 - while I can get the AAC files to work fine - supported out of the box on the ARHOCS I believe, but the FLAC and OGG files are not working very well - they play, but have some very strange and unpleasant 'errors' on them.

I thought that the most up to date firmware would give me the ability to play these files? There is something in the change history that mentions playing FLAC files with an ID3v2 tag - being a bit new to all this, I am not sure what this is and am not sure if it makes much of a difference to my problem.....I have done a quick google on ID3v2 and have confused myself slightly - I will do some more reading later when I am at home, but just wondered whether anyone had any quick solutions to my issue, or whether I am labouring under the wrong impression about the ARCHOS and the files it can play?
