Hi,

Just wondered if anyone knows how I get a replacement Archos 605 Wifi 80GB DVR Saddle / Adapter as when I bought mine (from ebay) it came without one and although they are only about £4 at the Archos Shop they want £14.50 to post it!!!

So, if anyone does not need their one or knows a shop where they have some, I would be much appreciated.

This may not affect you, but just for clarity, the saddle ships with the Archos player, not with the DVR.

I mention this as people can get confused on that point and forget they had one still in the box from when they first bought their player.

Regrettably to the best of my knowledge Archos are the only place to get one from on its own.

You may also want to state which model 605 you have as there are two different saddles depending on the model.

Yes I did realise it came with the player but the previous owner had not got it anymore. The model I have is the 80GB Its a shame as on the newmp3technology website thay have a 705 one but no others. Looks like I may have to pay their extortionate P&P charges/

Steve try archos 605 accessories haven't looked at p&p. but,it might be cheaper than the excessive charge from ARCHOS,good luck

Good find, never dealt with them but the postage is a lot better than Archos.
