Hi,

Im new to this so would be grateful of any advice given,.

Just recently I was given a Archos 405 (30GB) from my father-in-law, however I am unable to access the Tv Guide, When i switch it on it gives me how many days subscription I have left ( 130 days ).
I have read that I need to download something from the Archos site in order to get the Tv working ( am i right ? ), but in order to do this I have to register the 405 on the Archos site, I tried this but when inputting the product key & serial number it tells me that it has already been registered, so I assumed my father-in-law had registered it, I asked him but he cannot the remember passwords etc,

does anyone know how I can get the Tv working,

Most common reason for the TV Guide not to be working is that the date is not set to the current date.

It will also need access to wireless internet if you are going to update directly on the 405.

Just for clarity since you mentioned getting the 'TV' working, you do realise this is just a guide to help you when making recordings from your TV, it does not actually make TV available directly on the 405.
