Thanks for another great podcast. I thought it was a very in-depth discussion. Picking up on the horror topic, another great Japanese film for me is Audition which was full of psychological chills.

I thought the proposal of a discussion of the relative merits of film versus television to be a very good idea. Television series from the US especially seem to have upped their game in recent years. The higher production values that they have now certainly appear to rival that of films, but it's the long format of twenty-odd episodes that give them so much more depth of characterisation and plot.
