hot fuzz isnt anywhere near as good as shaun of the dead. not even close!

I agree, but I respect Alan's comments. I enjoy each and find them to be close in tone and execution. I think it depends on whether you have a love of the genres being used.

Shaun wins imo.

I'm not a fan of the 'stupid people not getting whats going on' routine in Fuzz. I hate them and this just makes any movie annoying for me.

Though Fuzz does have some great moments, none can compare to beating a zombie to death with pool cues in time with 'Don't stop me now' or

climbing a two rung kids ladder to 'have a look'

Completely agree.

It's not a big deal but it annoys me when someone says something like that in a podcast and no one else comments. I start to lose interest.

I have nothing against Star Trek or it's fans at all but,

It really isn't for me. I have no feelings for it at all, sorry

Although Battlestar has always gotten such great reviews, so may take a ganders at the BR boxset a bit later.
