Screens for Company's Meeting Rooms

Our company is taken some additional office space, which is going to become two meeting rooms. We are looking to get two decent sized screens (50" or bigger), which will be linked to pcs and possibly video conferencing facilities. Can I have your recommendations? I assume normal plasmas will do or is there something I'm missing? Budget of £5,000 for the pair but can go higher if need be.

They are big rooms with very high ceilings and chandeliers in a listed building, so hanging projectors is a no-no.

Afternoon

We've put quite a few Panasonic Commercial panels into offices/dealing rooms for exactly this type of use. If you PM me with a contact number I can get someone to give you a call as there a few questions which need to be asked before a final recommendation can be put forward.

Regards

Re: Screens for Company's Meeting Rooms

As already hinted at by Alastair, you don't really want to be installing a plasma TV. A commercial screen should be far better, but normally more expensive.
We have NEC 60XM4 & 61XM5 plasma panels in a few of our meeting rooms and they do a good job, but at around £4k+ (looking on google) they are not cheap (but are now an old models). They are HD Ready at 1360 x 768 but Full HD is not needed by us as it is mainly laptops that get connected to them for Powerpoint presentations.

Mark.

Tandberg - end of story.

We use them at work for "Teleprescence" conferencing, they are awesome.
