might away me lol.....going way off topic now(to myself)

On topic, aren't you meant to have eye level at the top of a screen? So I guess if you mount too high you'll need a recliner. A mate has his set half way up the wall and it does get a bit uncomfortable after a while, it's bang on if you standup lol.

No didn't hang it too quick lol. If you look at the 2nd pic, the height of the SoundStyle stand, with the Tannoy centre on top meant that was pretty much the lowest I could mount the TV. The bracket for that TV is specific to Panasonic, back in the days when they were not using VESA mounts. So I will need to get a new bracket anyway, might make a template of a 50ST50 and see how it compares for height.
