Will probably be nursing it with voltage tweaks for the rest of it's days. But i might be lucky, only time will tell after my most recent ones, but they looking good |
You got a LG too then? And if so...exact same model? :D
I also believe that..the bigger the screen, and i consider 60 biiiiiiiiiiig, the more easier you will notice faults. If this screen had been say...42 or even 50 inch. I think it would be harder to notice. A big screen is awesome, but it will also clearly display faults in games more noticeable. Like bad framerates are much worse on a huge tv than a small tv, on small tv alot less noticeable.
I've always believed that my very first plasma, Samsung PS50C91 was without faults, but at that time i probably didn't notice them. After the Panasonic VT30 fiasco however, i look at tv's in a different way and spot faults quite easily unfortunetely. But i think i can live with this, it still sucks that a skyline in a game like Max Payne 3 and Skyrim can't simply look completely like it should, without any lines or whatsoever, but it's not like i have much other options. I could bring the tv back and go for the Samsung E6500, but that's a 51 inch, quite a difference and also much more money. Nah i'm gonna accept this as long as it won't get worse.
And i hope it won't. I remember when i had just bought this tv, i don't think i saw any of that green stuff yet, and then it started to appear. So i hope all will be fine now. Have had more than enough tv problems i'd say.
