Question Dying Panny 37PX70?

Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. My Panny is about 5 years old now and it's started randomly losing sync over HDMI.

On top of this the menus become impossibly sluggish, taking maybe 4-5 seconds to respond to a keypress, then replaying everything I pressed one of the other? Kind of like the old Virgin boxes used to do normally

Has anyone seen this before?

Maybe it heard my talk of getting a GT50 and is sulking?

Cheers,
Paul.

Dont know how similar they are in the processor department, but see here. Its a common thing with these:
Panasonic Viera TH42PX60 - slow menus
and
Panasonic TH-37PX60B Plasma All control freezes.
