They are good tvs I had the PK590 (before the tweak the was talked about) and I really liked the tv, I would have kept it if image retention was less and the blacks were deeper.

Woh lets not go nuts here!! While the 590 was a good tv its not a patch on the d8000, ignorin the lesser black levels for a minute it wasnt anywhere as detailed or sharp even with hd material.

Speakin personally i didnt see barely any IR with it at all.

Ha ha its nowhere near as good as this beast that's for sure, on a calibration point it was a sod to do each ire point was hard to hit target. Getting the gamma as flat as possible was also a sod and the contrast ratio was very poor.
Having said that it was cheap for a big tv and is still going strong today which is more than i can say for any Panasonic I've owned lol.

I want to get my hands on a meter to do this set. Im already very very pleased with this set but i want to squeeze more out of it.
To think i nearly dismissed this set off my to buy list. So very glad i didn't.

I sold mine on to my mates dad. Got 650 for it which isn't bad to say i paid 750.
This beast is awesome. I can't get over the depth to games and movies etc.
Gaming is the biggest joy for me, i game more than watching movies and tv.
I can honestly say this is the best tv I've owned....ever!

All went towards the vt which then became this set.
Try selling locally mate, you might be able to push towards that price.

I might sell a few games to fund towards a meter to calibrate this beast. Its calling me to do it lol

no deal! I like my Sunday lunches too much to share and I'm nearly out of beer.

I think I will leave it on the back burner for now and see what comes along.

Just tried 2D to 3D on this set with FF13 and WOW looks good, magic seems to pop out a wee bit when used

Ive been playin ratchet n clank in 2d-3d and it adds some cool dimensionality to it, certainly looks different to the flat 2d.

That's one game i haven't played since the ps2 version. I must invest in it.

What glasses do you use for 3d?

Could somebody clear this up for me?
In the past I have changed my ADC values from default to L 131 and H 107
Does this change the values on all HDMI ports or just the one HDMI 1?
If so how do I set this value for all 4 HDMI ports
