Yes if they are in the centre of the screen.

Who is calibrating it for you, as i would ask them about this.

Just voted and thought I'd add a few comments in case they're useful to anyone.

Faint green patches were visible on the tuning menu on my 46GT30 from day 1 - the set is now 4 months old, so must have clocked up 500+ hours by now and the green patches are still visible on the same tuning menu.

Thankfully, they don't seem to be visible on normal viewing.. at least not that I've noticed so far. If they were, I think I'd have returned the set by now.

That's because the Green blobs will never go away until Panasonic decide to address the issue which unfortunately they don't seem to give a damn about at the moment. They will be developing the 2012 panels and will never fix this issue.

Unhappy I've been through 3 of the GT30s

I'm in the US and I'm on my 3rd P50GT30, the first one had blobs, the next two had blobs AND visible banding on green and grey backgrounds. The green patches on all sets took up about 1/3 of the total screen size.

Every time someone's face passes by one of the green areas, the shadows around eyes, cheekbones etc. turn a sickly green, brown hair is turned khaki and forget about watching March of the Penguins....it's awful. All three of these sets had the flickering brightness issue and the old version of the "A Board" that supposedly causes it.

I have talked to Panasonic USA and they deny any knowledge of the problem. I sent them e-mail with links to these forums and to photos of US sets, they ignored me.

I wonder how many returns it will take before they start to care? Such bad customer care.
