The story is my Samsung plasma got a small scratch in it so i thought i would polish it out with t-cut like i do with great affect on cd and dvds, but silly me didn't bother to do any research into it so now i know there is a filter on the screen as i have rubbed some of it away so the question is what can i use to get all the filter off easily as i don't fancy doing the full 50" screen with t-cut as i probably won't get into the corners and edges fully ?

yeah but i would rather just remove the filter m8 if possible.

To be honest mate, I'd leave the rest of it.
You may as well just ruin a small part, rather than all of it.

Problem is the bit i have removed is getting on my tits with it being lighter than the rest of the screen now so i just want to remove the lot.

if i caught anyone going near my tv with t-cut i would have to kill them

seriously mate apart from doing the whole screen what do you expect someone to suggest,whatever happens now its only downhill from here on.do the whole screen what have you got to lose

i think you have read my post wrong i do want to do the whole screen i just wondered if someone knew of something that would take the filter off easy.

Do you really want to remove it all? Its there for a reason.
Why not contact Samsung, they may have a solution for you.

I have tried turps and meths both do nothing maybe i should email samsung and ask them.

I think someone on the LG forum did exactly same thing an managed to remove filter do a search in LG threads if i remember im sure it was easier when the screen was left on an got warm

Hi I'm sure the screen filter is just a plastic film placed over the glass a bit like when you get your car windows tinted ,so it should just peel off.A lot of ps64d8000 owners have been having problems with their filters bubbling
