Panasonic 42PZ80B AV1 Auto Selection

Hi,

When I turn on the TV it says no DVB input (because I have no coax connected!).

I only have Sky, so is there anyway I can get it to automatically switch to AV1? I know my Sky is sending out a signal on Scart, but for some reason the Panasonic refuses to switch.

BTW - I'm glad I went for this model, it's a fantastic television and anyone who has any worries about moving to a Plasma has nothing to be concerned about. Big thumbs up from me.

Re: Panasonic 42PZ80B AV1 Auto Selection

Thank you, I've tried that and it's fixed the problem.

When I connected everything back up, I have a suspicion that I used the video out on the Sky box, rather than the AV out.

I think the pin 8 is only activated on the AV out and this is why the TV isn't auto switching (the manual says it will, if it receives a signal on pin 8).

However, rather than pulling everything out and recabling, the AV default setting as you suggested has given me another solution, so thank you for the reply and advice!
