Panasonic 42PZ80B Setup

Hi,

I've just bought a Panasonic 42PZ80 that is sitting downstairs in it's box, which I'm going to set it up later.

Before I did this, I wanted to confirm the settings for run-in, as I noticed that there's a thread for running in the 42PX80.

Is this still entirely appropriate for the PZ80, or can someone please point me in the right direction.

I've searched on PZ80 owners thread, PZ80 settings etc, but cannot find anything specifically relevant to this set.

Do I need to do anything specifically? It will mostly spend it's time on Sky+ watching BBC1, but will have 1 hour Stargate Atlantis tonight (with the Sky One logo)!

Thanks!

Re: Panasonic 42PZ80B Setup

I personally think it's all a bit of a myth these days.

Running in a car, fine, it tells you to keep the engine speed down in the owners handbook etc.

The Panasonic handbook says nothing of the sort. If it made a difference, it would reduce their warranty costs and they would print it in the book.
