Zoom adjust: [grayed out] ??? panasonic viera th-42pc77u

I can't seem to find a way to properly set the aspect ratio of my tv. The option "Zoom adjust" is grayed out and not clickable. I can only access one Zoom that chops heads off and makes the picture kinda grainy.. Please help!
