Time delays & plasma TH-50PZ81B

Hi Guys

just about to purchase a 50 inch plasma (Panasonic TH-50PZ81B) so I've been up John Lewis and had a play! I notice that some of the sets had delay settings in the menus.

Is there a long processing time in the plasmas and therefore playing DVDs from my DVD player with the audio going through my oldish AV amp will I get lip sync problems?

Obviously no problems at present with my old CRT

i have this screen and i have has no issues with delay using a seperate amp
heres a review i used do decide when buying if it helps you

daveydw sorry to be a bother but i have just purchased the same plasma and i wonder if you could help me i have noticed in the service menu that my plasma has been turned on and off 36 times and used for 202 hours is this a normal factory run in or should it have been zero on both accounts
