Panasonic th50pz81b or Samsung PS50A656

hi there people i hope you can help me and a friend are looking to buy a tv i'd prefer the the panasonic and now he prefers the samsung, any thoughts on these 2 sets would be great, they'll mainly be used for ps3 and bluray. We was originaly going to buy the same sets together, we've been looking for a while now and we just want to make a purchase the cheapest we've seen the panasonic for is £1399 at empire has anyone had any look from john lewis getting them to price match, the tv has to be instock and on display for them to do so, we are in the nottingham area if this helps

If it is to be mostly used for gaming and Blu-Ray, do you need the Freesat feature of the PZ81?
Maybe you would be better going for the PZ80 and saving yourself a few quid.
