I've got tomorrow off work, a 600M arriving in the morning. However, my replacement EDGE is still on its way over from California... so will be a few days before I can give my thoughts on how it looks with an EDGE.
As a central AV hub/media box... EDGE is really fantastic, would definitely recommend it. You get 6 HDMI inputs and can keep the audio separate. I am sure it will cope with deinterlacing better than the internal Pioneer processing too, so it's sure to add something to the overall picture quality as well... especially when it comes to SkyHD and the SD output over HDMI.
Sounds like a few of us are getting our new KRPs tomorrow!

according to this review [link below] of the new 2009 panasonic range of plasmas with comparable black levels, the pioneer screens have problems displaying shadow detail.

Just as a matter of interest, would you mind disclosing how much you sold your LX608 for, and where did you sell it? The reason is I have a 508XD that I'm thinking of upgrading to a 60" Pio.

Just out of interest why was the thread delete, No one else's gets deleted on a sold thread ? preferential treatment ? I notice Kingfats keeping very tight lipped about the final price.
