Pio 427XD - Anyone NOT got 'dirty screen' effect?

bought pioneer just before xmas and very noticeable dirty screen effect... has there been any further developments.. if it is a quality issue I would like to get it rectified.

Re: dirty screen pioneer update

seems to be the issue at the moment!!...

as mentioned in the other threads it literally looks like the screen is covered in a film of dirt , like a car windscreen on the inside thats not been cleaned for weeks. and is very apparent 1. on a white/light background and 2. when camera pans..

has any body successfully returned a pio for this...

Re: dirty screen pioneer update

i noticed too that if you look through the glass at the pixel array when the tv is off (from the side) you can see the panel is not completely smooth - maybe this causes the line effect?

I am not sure whether to get a new pio or a new model?!??
