Cable Tidy

Finally decided to take the plunge and upgrade my RPTV to a plasma.
Just wonder if any one has any ideas on hiding cables from a wall mount installation.

I know the best option is to bury them in the wall but I would really like to avoid this as I really cant face re-decorating at them moment

What I would like is some nice shinny chrome cable trunking that will attach to the wall and run from the bottom of the plasma screen to the floor with all the nasty inside.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this or know any suppliers?

Someone here got one of the nice chrome 'legs' from B & Q and run the cables
down the inside of that. It looked rather nice. Gave the impression of being on a
fancy stand when it was just fake, and only a cable run...

Someone on the custom install section recently suggested a bit of stainless braided hose, goodridge type of stuff, that would look very cool, and if you ran 1 for power and 1 for video you'd be taking serious care of the shielding.

Another alternative would be to use a bit of kit called spiral wrap.
Spiral wrap is a plastic sheath that you wrap around the cables.
It comes in a variety of colours including a "chrome effect"?
A company called Wade international sells it.

Have a look at the "get the plasmas out for the lads" thread. You will get plenty of ideas there. One guy used the Chrome tubes used for wardrobe hanging space. One either side of the TV. One for power, one for the signal. Looked like the screen was on a stand.
I used "cable management channel" from http://www.standsunique.com/. Look at wall supports section. Its basically just cable trunking but is divided into 3 sections inside. Is paintable but I kept it same colour as it fits in with the room colours
