Pioneer 436/506 Speakers & Stand Query

Hi all,

Just got a new 436XDE which came with side speakers however I note that there is an underspeaker (S39) available. Is this intended to act as a centre speaker or are the individual speakers in it placed to give good stereo without using side speakers?

Also, the shop delivered the swivel stand although I wanted the fixed type. Does the fixed type (TS10) look less obvious as it's dimensions on the Pioneer web site suggest it might?

The underside speakers are stereo speakers. As to how good the stereo image is - I can't sell you as I have the side speakers as well.

I have the fixed (TS10) stand, but actually wanted the swivel one (TS12). I think the fixed one is less deep, although I think this actually means there is less stand at the back of the screen than the front, if that makes sense.

I still have all of the packaging for the stand. Would you be interested in doing a swap?

Thanks for the info and the offer.

I've decided to stick with the swivel stand but am going to get the single speaker rather than expand the width of the screen with the side speakers.
