Gonna wall mount my plasma tv but...!

Im going to order a wall mount plasma mount to get it hung on wall but has anyone any ideas on what will look neat to place my dvd recorder ntl box freeview box and xbox amplifier on? i have it on a fairly decent unit.But i feel it will look odd without a tv on the top is there any beech say box type shelving i can use wanting something cheapish to as im short of funds at the moment

I made my own shelves smaller than the equipment, so it looks like they are floating. Paint them in the same color as the equipment.
