Weekly TZ MiniComp - "SIGNS" - Open voting from 6pm SATURDAY

The theme for this week's TZ Owners Mini competition is "SIGNS".

PICTURE ENTRIES ONLY ON THIS THREAD PLEASE UNTIL 6PM SATURDAY ... Thereafter any comments will be welcome!

All entries are required to be "OOC" - Out Of Camera with no cropping or Post Processing applied - other than rotation through 90 degrees for portrait/landscape purposes of course. All pictures must be taken within the week of the competition.

We welcome, and indeed, encourage all AVF users - not just TZ camera owners, to vote for their preferred entry by clicking the "Thanks" button for that post after the submissions deadline on Saturday evenings at 6pm. ...and all TZ owners are cordially invited to participate either by submitting their own entries or failing that, by voting.

Please note that entries must be in by 6pm on SATURDAY 14th April. Voting will then commence and close 24 hours later, at 6pm on SUNDAY 15th April.

A straight decision between Goso and Nick for me this week. Everything pretty much perfect with Nick's shot, but Goso's made me laugh, so he gets my vote

Jim for me this week

Not as closes as The National but GC's late entry came second for me.

Don't know about the rest of you but I've really enjoyed the wide variaty of shots entered in the last four weeks with the themes we have had

I agree... I know we don't get masses of entries a week but thats part of the attraction for me. Its about the fun and seeing how the "group" try and get different interpretations of the subject, which I prefer to do, and better shots. Specifically with the TZ...and I'm looking at the TZ30 when it becomes widely available......

Prize for me this week, although I will admit I prefer the B&W version in the TZ sharing thread.

Tbird for me this week - closely followed by Nick and a special mention or Gazza's attempt at an alternative interpretation (was just a bit too subtle - especially for him )

Jim

Nick for me this week with goso a close second
I haven't been on the thread for a while but am mystified as to how there are 3 votes for a non TZ camera pic with loads of pp!!!
Have the rules all changed and I have missed it??

I missed that...good rule...I'll just scrap off the 30 and hand paint a 10 in its place. As I am now veering away from a M4/3 and thinking the new and improved TZ30....like the TZ10 will be my walkaround camera. Also with 2 x TZ10s and a TZ3010 I can make 3 entries each week.....

Well, seeing as the two members of the committee that make this stuff up as it goes along also voted for the non entry..... I suspect the rules have changed
