Is it an adjustable leg for a tripod or something?
Or some kind of extending arm?

More likely to be made by Cadbury than either of those

Neither of those parts are buttons - chocolate or otherwise

Is the object damaged or imperfect? Or is it supposed to look just like that?

It's in fine working order and it's close-up/macro of part of an object - what you see is a black plastic area which has two shiny metal objects embedded in it

i was referring to what looks like a crack or split in the plastic, below the top shiny thing (looks relatively large in the reflection on the shiny bit).

Odd request, but can you make the photo smaller and repost? For something that close, being that large makes it more difficult to work out what it is.

Which ones are warmish?
