Wondered about that. I was thinking of selling my excellent 70-300. As I don't think i will really need it now I have the 16-105. Even though I could get £200 + for it I think and put that towards a decent 35mm prime.

It IS fun though.....

Sadly not...but thanks for the tip. In fact I might check as I did have BT a few years ago and you never know

I very rarely used my 70-300, not because it wasnt a good lens as it was very good. But Id rather make a bit of money back and let someone else enjoy it than see it lonely in the cupboard when I take my other gear out.

Put your money towards something youll use, thats my advice.

I agree. I love the lens and it really does take great shots but like you it seems a waste to leave it in the cupboard. Thinking of £220 or so ? Its in perfect nick...

Hard to say, most recent on ebay went for 220. So I wouldve though 180-200 is a decent bet.

Not 100% sure as I stumbeld on it by accident. I already paid for a years pro account unknowingly, then associated it with my bt email address, for a complelety different reason and vola....it now says on my account page.

"You are signed in to Flickr via your Yahoo ID (user@btinternet.com) You have a Pro account, at no cost as long as you keep your BT Yahoo! service. "

Havent had bt for years....

Cheers Jim. I get some nice shots from my North facing study...the sun just catches things right. Especially with that angry sky. Only PP was a reducing the temp in RAW to around 4700 I think and a tiny increase in contrast. Other that that its as I saw it....

Crops extremely well close in.....tribute to the lens IMO
