Number three is my favourite from that set mate.

I might go for a stroll tomorrow morning and try and grab some shots with the iPhone. It's crazy but I picked up a dslr a few months ago but I have hardly used it, the iPhone is just too handy and I love screwing around with the post processing apps, there's a bit too much pp on all my iPhone shots but hopefully I will level out at some point.

Couple of unusual macro shots from me tonight.. Shot some like this a while back with my TZ8 but revisited the subject tonight to have another (alternative) go at it:

Hmm looks like the AVF app has converted it quite badly. Ho hum. Will try again when I get home.

it looks like a nice shot, just a shame the avf app seems to have screwed it about a bit. might be worth sticking it on Flickr (or similar) and linking from there.

Nice set again FOB. That spider in #1 looks transparent! Great DoF on #2, and lovely shot for #3.

Nope, actually, only the spider was using the olloclip! the spider was almost transparent, as Kyle pointed out, and was tiny! Very please with the results from the olloclip there.

The other 2 shots were just close-ups with the iPhone 4S lens, it's quite good at getting fairly close, and I was really pleased with number 3.

Because the olloclip basically just magnifies the iPhone lens by 10x, you're limited to a focal distance of about 10-12mm from the subject. Obviously this means I wouldn't have been able to get the whole flower or whole Chinese lantern in the shot, so I took the olloclip off do those shots

I'm loving my 4S; not only is it my favourite smartphone, it's also capable of some great photography (including editing) and has become my main camera!

I'm using iPhoto on my new iPad too, it's great, still getting used to it though.. I'm trying to make it my main editing app, as I was getting fed up of using 3-4 different apps to edit my pictures! I can do most of what I need to do in iPhoto and it works well. I still use simply black and white for mono conversions though, after editing the photo with iPhoto, and sometimes snapseed for its useful tilt shift features. Also Big Lens is great, I like to use that on portrait shots. Much better editing on iPad in general though, than straining my eyes on the tiny iPhone display!

Like minds...

I prefer to edit my iPhone shots on the iPad for the same reason. As I have been a bit slack recently I haven't had anything to try out iPhoto since my new iPad arrived.

The only thing I have really tried with my iPhone recently is a long exposure app for light trails etc but so far I have had zero success.

Here are a few from me that I took yesterday, only had half an hour but was quite please with what I got in that time. I know the focus is off in a couple of them but it's very difficult with such a shallow the DoF and not being able to see the iPhone screen too well in direct sunlight to check focus perfectly! Oh, and the 10-15mm working distance lol

I still impressed with that olloclip, but now summer is getting closer, I'll be breaking out my canon 100mm macro.
Nice shots though.
