Jim, the circuit board is part of a huge matrix we are making at work for some kind of digital display, may well feature again around day 160 if it ever gets finished :-)

Thanks Tonks, I am finding it an extremely interesting and challenging task, especially when it gets to about 11pm and I haven't taken anything yet ...

Have a go though, today is day 40, have so far only missed one or perhaps two days were although I had actually got a shot on the day I hadn't had a chance to post it until the next day, got to try to keep on top of it. Also I am following two or three others doing a similar project (one lady is on 4 years and counting !) and their stuff is sometimes pretty awesome, I then think what can I do to top that !

Anyway, next post is todays shot - still deciding on it ...

Quick snap shot of Janet under the lights, calling it Hi-Key but in truth the top light was a bit on the bright side.

Just noticed her "halo", its her glasses perched on top of her head.

The only individual cup I ever won playing badminton, and I never actually "won" it !
I was awarded it because I was drawn against the winner of our league's singles trophy every year for about 6 years, always in the first round ! It originally came from, so I am told, Malta. I am part Maltese so I treasure it as part of my heritage, and its only about 3 inches tall including the stand !
Lit from a single remote flash.

All Saints Church, Newton Green, Suffolk
A really beautiful building, nestled away from the main road, a treat for all who venture there.

Was delighted to be asked to photograph a rehearsal of the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra today, a great bunch of people who were really keen to have me there, more pictures can be seen at http://www.hiskett.net/Events

It was good practice as I have been invited to photograph the rehearsal and concert of one of the countries main orchestra's in a few weeks at a concert in London.

There was a great sunset tonight, just caught the end of it while on the way home, the gaps in the clouds seemed to frame the frees perfectly for me

Another sunset I am afraid, it did turn a bit more orange after this but I liked the simplicity of the yellow to blur transition behind the trees. Its the view from our back window.

Thanks Jim, but now I have seen it online I think I should either have cropped it more "letterbox" or included a bit of the ground.

Thanks for your regular contributions as well.

My pleasure Bill - Aspect/composition works fine for me personally but you may be right about the foreground of course having seen it

I like the perspective Bill and the conversion - not sure about the inclusion of the first partial light personally so works better cropped down a bit for me

I present to you my heart, or at least the state of it at 14:39 and 38 seconds as it was while having a ECG (only a regular check up so nothing to worry about) Doctor said, your obviously quite well so we will see you in a years time !
There is something a bit unusual going on here, lets see if anyone spots it.

Noticed that there was some activity in the local Church tonight so nipped across and snapped a couple of the stained glass windows, unfortunately they all have a mesh over for security.

What a pity about the mesh Bill - though that in itself makes a statement - nice colours...
