Million Starlings

Alright, it maybe less (or more ) than million but it was an impressive sight.

These are taken at Westhay Moor Nature Reserve in Somerset near Glastonbury on friday afternoon. First time I've been there, and it was an impressive show

My little 55-250mm was struggling with the low light unfortunately towards the end . There are few more on my flickr if anyone is interested. Thanks for looking.

Damn. I only counted 999,997. Guess I'll have to start over again; 1,2,3,4...

Nice series of shots, especially the first 4.

Great set of shots. I was around West Hatch a few weeks ago and took a few (posted up on here somewhere), but wasn't as lucky with the the sky or elevated position as you.

Really love the first one.

thanks mate.

It was the only clear day whole week luckily. Continued with rain and overcast skies yesterday and today.

I was standing on the pathway between the old Ashcott and Shapwick Rail stations (towards Ashcott end). That's where most other people were standing as well, so i just followed them around .
