Howdy,

I use re-chargeable batteries in my Sigma .. so frustrating that even though the test flash will fire, it won't trigger via the Camera.

For a long time I was thinking it was some crazy setting that I was missing, but reading around the subject it looks like it's to do with the amount of power left in the batteries.

A few questions

- on average how many shots (say in ETTL mode) do you normally get from a full charge?
- am I missing something here - shouldn't the flash unit warn you that you are lower on battery power
- am I barking up the wrong tree and in fact it is something else that's preventing the flash to fire?
