Very rare (for me ) the wife went to visit the sister, so I was left all day on my own, headed off to get some pics.

1. This railway bridge looked interesting,

2. This is a small Loch called Ceo Glais east of Loch Ness

3. Didn't even know about this waterfall called Falls of Foyers, apparently an amazing sight when it's in spate, will have to go back for a look after some rain bloody long walk down (or rather back up)

4. Took the kids to the local fireworks this evening, was messing with high ISO's, this is hand held 6400 on 7D

5. My first time trying to take photos of fireworks and I was pretty crap, over exposed just about everything, this was the only one worth keeping

some nice pics there, sky in no1 is so blue, but no2 is excellent, almost has a slight HDR to it, good job

I also like number 2 - not often do you get a shot where sun flare adds to the scene

Yep - number 2 for me as well although I really like the composition of the Bridge shot

cheers all, I've been trying to do something useful with the 10-22, generally everything I take with it is crap
