Printer/scanner with wireless (?) and good scan quality?

Overview: I'm looking for an all-in-one device with Wireless capability and a good scanning resolution (4800*9600).

Recently I've built myself a nice new computer. Which was fantastic, until I realised my trusty printer HP Deskjet 720c is not compatible with 64-bit operating systems (Vista HP x64 in my case). So I'm buying a new printer, and would like to take this opportunity to rid myself of an ancient Tiny-branded flatbed scanner.

My wireless setup at home is as follows.

I've got my home-built PC (running Vista x64) hardwired to a Belkin F5D7231-4 wireless router. A laptop and another PC acting as a media centre (both running XP Home 32) are connected wirelessly to this router.

What I want to be able to do is print from all 3 of these computers.

What I'm unsure of is whether the computers running XP will be able to connect to a printer if it is hardwired to the machine running vista x64. Will the differences in operating system, notably the 32/64 bit difference, cause any problems? This uncertainty has made me feel a wireless, network printer would be more suitable and would stop any issues from arising.

I've trawled through different shops/review sites and have found both the Canon MP620 and MP630 to satisfy one of my criteria each. The 620 has wireless and the 630 has (4800*9600) scan resolution.

... bummer.

So I'm looking for an alternative that satisfies both criteria whilst remaining affordable (sub £200?)

Thanks.

Re: Printer/scanner with wireless (?) and good scan quality?

play.com have the HP C7280 on offer today for £55. Haven't used it myself, and reading the reviews it doesn't seem to be as capable at scanning and photo printing as some, but at that price it may be worth a try. Ink price seems OK (for an HP).
