Vista Usb/Networked Printer
Hi guys
running four pc's 3 with 32bit and one with 64bit vista 
Great so far but cannot get printer sharing working 
Main pc Coolermaster connected to usb printer and netgear router
HTPC connected to network wirelessly can see and share files
Daughters pc wirelessly again and can share files
HTPC downstairs wirelessly again and can share files
BUT HTPC/Daughters pc/Downstair HTPC require username and password to enable printer sharing 
Any ideas

Have you shared the printer via the Printer Properties window?

yes defo but it does say password required 
Public folder sharing also states password required

Just tried from an WinXP machine and I can't get past the password either

Sorted.
In the 'Network and Sharing Center' you will see Printer Sharing (password required)
Just below this there is the option to turn off Password Protected Sharing.
Turn this off and your other PCs will be able to connect without passwords.
