the val needs the bigger clip and why nerf that it is only good at close range and you run out of ammo fast, the M320 will be near useless if that is nerfed more, the Famas should be left as is.

Is there a way to advertise this server? If it is struggling to fill with players how can we make it known to more people that its available to play on?

For example, could we ask Stuart to put this in the news letter? Or in the homepage of the AVForums that we have a battlefield server that can be played on?

How often do u lot play this game and do u use teamspeak? i played with a few lads from a different forum and we all hooked up on TS and had a bloody blast online.

TS makes this game 10x more fun IMO. Do people in this forum use TS a lot when playing bf3?

That would be a good idea. The problem is the new server is not called AVForums.

The first part of the name has no bearing on when randoms join but perhaps it is having an effect on other AVF players?

Would it be an idea to have AVForums at the start of the server name again and perhaps get those to put AVF back in as their tags?

When the server has been full I've noticed a lot less AVF guys than there used to be. Perhaps with the server not called AVForums they are going elsewhere.

Last time i played with u lot, only 2-3 people used TS dispite having around 10-15 people online from avf lol

I am on there most nights mate...and I think it comes down to some being afraid of their own voice.

I know Greg, Tess, Jendo, Stu, Dave, Gvers, Ash and a couple of others on TS quite well now.

I was shot down last time I suggested unifying the servers and adding it to the PBBans account we have.

You weren't shot down about that. You suggested getting at least two more servers, when there was no need.

We just need to attract the AVF guys to our current one. One it gets to a certain level it fills up nicely.

No I didn't, I asked if people would be interested in a free sponsored server. Seeing as it was suggested to keep the original one alongside what is now the only one it didn't seem particularly far-fetched.

But what happens if the server is full of randoms? Does the server auto kick someone if I join? Or are there reserve slots defined in it yet?

It doesn't look like we're getting reserved slots.

We will worry about that when we get to it mate

but in all honesty it is not a problem with a queue of 4 or so people as you will get on the server within a few minutes.

And as Ash said there are no reserved slots which is a bit annoying

But if you came onto TS and said you needed a slot badly everyone in TS has admin so can kick someone for you.....

We had a max of 8 players for the two hours I was on last night. Reserved slots couldn't be more irrelevant right now. Who is on tonight? Soon as Jr and his cousin are in bed I will be heading on (bout 7:30sh) although its won't be a late one for me tonight.

The weapon restrictions may be putting people off as well.
