Here's a blast from the past.

Far cry 2 720p (Yes I know), ultra with 8xaa and v-sync constant 60fps.

Still looks good today in my opinion. I love playing the old games that I couldn't max out a few years ago.

Crysis 2 on Ultra settings running in Windows 7 at 1920x1080 resolution on a late-2011 21.5" Intel i5 2.7 GHz iMac with a 512 MB Radeon HD 6770 graphics card.

Motion Blur Amount set to High but no High Resolution Textures option selected.

I just received Crysis 2 through the post, so I downloaded the DX11 patch and high-res texture file from Crytek. It does look pretty good and seems to run okay with everything set to ultra. Will try to get some screenshots. The game itself seems good so far, although the control system appears to be a bit more complicated than Crysis 1 or Warhead.

Have you thought about downloading the high-res pack and DX11 patch?

Its definitely designed to play with a controller if youve got one, its a good looking game, maybe not the leap the first was but its much more fun imo, first was just a very good tech demo.

The opening to the second was awesome, very good soundtrack to go alongside it as well .

If you can get into a non hacked lobby the online is worth a go but its riddled with cheaters.

I had thought about it but wasn't sure if it was worth it, as I hardly ever play it.

Downloading now, though.

As for the more complicated control system, I'm using the wireless Xbox 360 controller for Windows.

Funnilly enough, I have. The screens above are from my current playthrough.

It's very atmospheric and lovely to look at, but I appear to be stranded on a Hebridean Island after being ship wrecked with only a narrative for company so far. It feels like I'm taking a tour through someone else's memory of events that have happened on the isle with nothing more than lovely scenery to look at.

For £6.99 though, it's worth it for the eye candy alone.

These are not my own SS. They are available for public download from deadendthrills.com

Skyrim SS taken at 2160p

Project Cars at 2160p

Alice 2 at 2160p

Also, The Hunter has some amazing textures and draw distance. There are SS of it on the website. Just thought I'd share these beautiful images.

I bought F1 2011 for my iMac today (512MB Radeon HD6770 graphics) and here it is with all the eye-candy on (1080p, 8xAA and other settings either on High (if Ultra not an option) or Ultra).

i use imgur, no need for an account and allows multiple uploads at once, no intrusive advertising either
