You might want to add that Dawn of War platinum (Gold version plus Dark Crusader) is £4.99 which is an even better deal

Retribution is cheaper on retail still - they haven't reduced it much since launch which is a bit disappointing. 75% off and I'd probably have went for it

GTA5? Do you know something we don't?

Anyone, GTA4 as long as you don't upgrade it to the patch 1.0.7 you will be fine. Patch 1.0.4 is the furthest you can go and still mod properly.

The iCEnhancer mod is excellent, makes the game look amazing.

If you are starting from scratch I would recommend the following routes:
Patch to 1.4
Install xliveless (to remove the awful windows live which will autoupdate the game to 1.7)
Install the texture pack (optional this one as it is about 8GB download)
Install iCenhancer 1.3 GTA4-Mods.com - Grand Theft Auto 4 car mods, tools, and more!

Then if you have hard drive space, back up the whole GTA folder. Then start messing about with other mods such as different cars, weapons, skins etc. That way if you mess a file up you won't have to reinstall the whole thing.

Yeah, it may tax it a bit and you might have to lower settings a bit but it should be fine.

Today's Deal/s:

EVE Online: Incarna
75% off £3.75
Save 75% on EVE Online: Incarna on Steam
Best price in the last year-ish.... £1.49 June 2010

EDIT regarding EVE online by Hillskill:

Already posted by Lost, but still:
GAMERSGATE

GTA 1, 2 (which are available from rockstar for free by the way under rockstar classic's) 3, vice city, san andreas, 4 and episodes of liberty city
£8.75
Grand Theft Auto The Complete Package - Buy and download on GamersGate
Best price in the last year-ish.... £13.39 June/July 2011 on Steam

These game's speak for themselve's, and yes I have all of them. A bargain at this price.
I think I paid a fiver for everything up to GTA IV, then £6.25 for GTA IV complete pack.

Impulse

MX vs ATV Reflex
£3.74
Impulse Driven : MX vs ATV Reflex : Instant Digital Download Purchasing, Product Information, Screenshots, Previews, and more...
Best price in the last year-ish.... £9.99 on steam

It's not Dirt, it's available in our region and is a Steamworks title so can download it via steam.
It looks pretty good, seem's like there is some indoor arena type racing. I'm gonna watch some vid's and see if I like it from there

I think the last Motocross game I played that involved dirt bike's was one on the Playstation 1.

Edit, it's looking good for under a fiver, I might take a punt

Edit 2. Went for Mx vs ATV Reflex, paid by credit card and got this:

Grabbed GTA, 2, 3, SA and VC from Steam in the most recent sale. All for a fiver. Never played IV, bought it ages ago, gave up trying to play it when it got that infamous error.

Which error was that?

I couldn't play it for a long time due to the bad coding of the game, but have played a bit of it now nice and smoothly.

Anyone tempted by Eve should make a post in the EVE thread. Highly likely someone in there will have a guest code they can give you which will get you the game free and some play time for free. I paid £7 for it thinking it was a bargain and felt ripped off once someone had explained!

Don't you get a free month with this? Basically you can add the code anytime I think once you buy it so still have your free time then use the code

I'd really like the augmented edition of this game, but I'll wait till the price drop's a bit more than just 25%.

But you shouldn't have to pay for the game at all if you get a trial invite.

I thought you can play you free two weeks for example then at the end add in your code from buying it for the included month. So 6 weeks play basically

Midweek Madness

Batman Arkham Asylum and Lego Batman Package
50% off £9.99 - For them both, or £4.99 each
Save 50% on Batman Arkham Asylum and LEGO Batman Package on Steam
Best price in the last year-ish....
Batman AA £.3.75 Feburay, March and July (twice in July) 2011
Lego Batman £2.49 December 2010/11 Which is when I bought it I think

So they have been cheaper, but still worhth the cash. Being the stingy git that I am, if I didn't already have them, I'd have waited till christmas this year. Especially for Batman AA as that has been cheaper multiple time's time's throughout the year.
