Game is now in Gold

Quote:
Today, we have some exciting new to share about Borderlands 2 -- the game is headed to certification!

This means that the game’s on-disc content has been locked down and will be thoroughly tested to ensure it is ready for release -– in other words, the game is finished and we cannot make any further changes to the game. As such, the team is now shifting their focus towards post-launch efforts, including the Mechromancer: the new character class that will be released as FREE downloadable content to members of the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club roughly 60 to 90 days after launch.

The Mechromancer is just one of the many bonuses for members of the Premiere Club, which can be joined by pre-ordering Borderlands 2 from a participating retailer in advance of its release on September 18 in North America and September 21 Internationally. For a list of those participating retailers and more details about Premiere Club benefits, please visit our Borderlands 2 FAQ and borderlands2.com/preorder

On behalf of everyone involved in the development of Borderlands 2, thank you for your love and support -- your passion for what we create is what fuels our effort!

Heads up, B2 is now 10% off if you already own B1 on Steam.

Surprisingly the discount also applies to the 4 pack, making it just over £20 per copy.

Can we get a 4 pack together before the weekend?

I would get it together myself, but I am in Euros and it's super expensive.

Well if all 3 of you are definites I'll buy one tonight and stick it up in the classifieds with a copy reserved for each of you. I can only hold them for 24 hours though as I'll be dipping into my bank account to fund them and my balance ain't too healthy right now!!

In the meantime if you want to send me a friend's request via Steam (my username is the same as my AVF one) then it'll make it easier to gift the codes over once the pack is bought

Edit: sorry Iccz. Just saw your post - can put you on the reserve list in case anyone drops out if you like? I'm sure someone'll start another shortly though.

Thanks guys!

I've just purchased a 4 pack and created a sales listing if you want to proceed

http://www.avforums.com/forums/pc-ga...l#post17364553

I'll hold them 'til lunchtime on Sunday so no desperate rush to sort out payment etc.

I'm in, after over 100 hours on the first I think I may just get along with this.

As long as it's not a Bioshock 2.

I'd do a pack too. Borderlands was great co-op action.

I'd be interested in being part of the 4 pack when Steam remove my restriction because of a Paypal dispute I started over non refund for a game I bought by mistake during the sales.

That's a bit silly. What game did you accidentally put all the way through the checkout process?

Splinter Cell, I wanted the deluxe version which I bought anyway. They said they'd issue a refund into my Steam wallet but never received it.

If you buy a sealed game without installing it from the shop and wanted to return it you'd get a refund, why should Steam be any different?
