I agree. When i first borrowed the full game to demo, do with most these days if there is no demo i thought it was becuase it was a torrent but when i bought the full retail in the Steam game sale it was still there. Doesn't look good at all.

Doesent bother me tbh, though probably a concession for getting it as smooth as possible on the consoles.

Bloody consoles ruining gaming...lol

But its true, these days we are really being limited by what a console can handle.

They are all still stuck in DX9 while we gots DX11 and cards that are twice as fast (if not more) than whats in the PS3 and 360.

I wish they would hurry up and make new consoles so we can take a step up.

Your first point..
Yes Graphically wise they are letting down the team however I do believe they Consoles are making gaming so much bigger than it ever was on just PC.

Also on your 2nd point about the power of GPUs…
If my GTX 275 can max out most games with ease at 1080p (just have to turn down the AA, all other settings can be at the max) then the newer cards such as 400 and 500 series from Nvidia and the 5000 and 6000 series from ATI must be at least be 5-10 times more powerful than the current offerings from PS3.
That’s my thinking anyway!

Yeah way more powerfull, if you read from post 2 and 3 here List of Rendering Resolutions You will see that Hot Pursuit is running 1280x720 on 360 and ps3. but to be fair that's being kind run pc version at that and looks far superiour, List dont tell you that's at mid settings (at best)
Played 360 demo and while it runs and plays great not even half as good looking as pc version.

Oh and leet1976 you are too bloody fast, how the heck did you set that time in the BMW point to point? I can't get to within 15 seconds of you on what looks like a perfect run.

The funny thing is, that time on the point to point was set by my 7 year old son I am a fair bit slower than that.

I'm on there now, the website says Arthur Hucksake but i'm pretty sure it will be arthurhucksake ?

I hate the way EA handles their personas and accounts, I seem to have them all over the shop.

Bought the limited edition version on PC the other week and I'm a tad bit worried that there wasn't a code in the box other than the one on the back of the manual.

Can't seem to find any of the exclusive cars in the game and was wondering if anyone else who bought this version got an extra slip with the codes on them, or are they just in the game, to be unlocked at a later point?

Cheers.

what do you mean cannot find them?

They are just greyed out when you go to select them or not appearing what so ever?

I haven't noticed a single "limited edition exclusive" car since playing.

Admittedly, I haven't played far in to the game, but I was expecting the cars to at least be at the beginning, otherwise what's the point?

Currently playing Test Drive Unlimited 2 at the moment, but I might knock it back up and try playing through some more.

I have been trying to get a gold in the "The Ultimate Road Car" timetrial today...no luck!

I have improved my time down from 3:20 odd to 3:15.88 so it is getting better but not at the magical 3:08!

bought this on the xbox for use with the wheel, i love it, by far the best N4S game and possibly my fave arcade racer this generation.

It is the game i hoped Burnout Paradise would be.

My mate picked up on the PC recently.

60fps (though his computer struggled a little on the rain levels though my pc would not have this issue) , lighting is better than the xbox, more fog and water effects etc but.......

No fanatec wheel support? what on earth is all that about? and reading online looking for help it seems there is only force feedback support on the xbox, and none on the PC or PS3?

Can that be true? if so are EA playing at?

This game is made for the wheel, its amazing, and despite all the great touches of the pc port over the xbox, it instantly means i am so glad i did not wait and buy it for my pc.

If i am wrong and there is some way to get it to detect the wheel on the pc, please let me know and i can tell my mate.

cheers

M.
