Yeah im pretty sure you'll lose your weapon stats when you prestige, so you've gotta go through all the weapons again and get all the headshots

You loose all you perks and weapon unlocks and start prestige 2 with just the five basic classed unlocked (no create a class option).

You stats (number of kills ect) remain in place, this do not get reset.

What do you actually unlock for doing the prestige's?

I'm only level 50 myself so not had chance to see.

Thanks

Nothing, Same as COD4

You have the prestiege of the titles/symbols.

Once you have completed all the headshot challenges of each category, you unlock Golden weapons.

WRONG!
You get new emblems, titles, etc for completing new challenges, of which there is a new category, "Prestige". And you get an extra class to create, so instead of 5, there are 6. Can only get better as you go.

I am disguested with myself and gave in. I got a little bit bored of being level 70 and always using my favourite class. I enjoyed levelling more as I was forced to use weapons to unlock more points and to be creative with class selection and making my perks pro.

Currently level 22 again

I in no way done it for coolness or to be an elitest prick.

Knew you'd crack
Who cares if it's gimmicky? New titles is kinda cool! PLus new challenges and another class! How do you like it? Pluuuuus it's kinda a sweet adventure leveling up and getting everything again and trying to get to level 10 prestige
or whatever it goes to.

I like it. I still dont use all 5 classes as i have a sniper, smg and fast and if i used something different iwnet gives u time between rounds.

More fun levelling than it was staying level 70!!!!

Im looking forward to CoD7: vietnam in November now

I like the idea of prestige mode, it creates a new challenge and gives you chance to explore new weapon setups, because you've been too afraid to move away from your comfort zone
