Re: Late to the Party: Mass Effect

Why not plug your mega awesome PC into your 42" television and game that way? Much more impressive.

Mass Effect looks amazing on a PC through a big television.

Cannot wait for the sequel, as the first game is absolutely brilliant.

I just hope they can make the side missions a bit more varied (please stop using the same buildings over with slightly different layouts) and then it will be perfect.

Bioware are probably the best games maker at the moment... or Bethesda.

Re: Late to the Party: Mass Effect

I'm with Eiren. My PC is hooked upto my 50" Pioneer Plasma and games have never looked so good.

You'd have to pay me a lot of money these days to sit at a desk and play games on a tiny 20"-30" monitor!

Plug the PC into your TV, buy an MS Crossfire adaptop and use a 360 pad.

Mass Effect is an awesome game (one of my fave games this generation) and looks great on the PC. I'd buy it in a flash on the PC had I not done it already on the 360.

Indeed, I think EA store had it for a fiver a week or two back as well (back up to £15 now). An absolute steal and one of the best RPG's i've played. Some of the side missions get a little repetetive as they are generally the same thing over & over, but the story is great and there's enough variety in the main quest to break up the side missions IMO.
